Maybe the issues is more that the game isnt providing clear feedback when the ability activates. But you might think "ok WHY do players feel that way". You don't immediately dismiss the player feedback. But the data shows that ability X triggers at a rate that's consistent. As an example, lets say that players feel ability X is not triggering enough. It may actually contradict player feedback. This kind of data can be used to correlate with player feedback. Its things like how many deaths, who did you die to, what skills are you using, what adventurers are you using, what upgrades are you buying, etc. The data is anonymized and its all game data related.
